Joachim and Anne were the parents of Mary, the mother of Jesus. So Jesus' maternal Grandmother must have been Joachim. Strangely, Jesus' link to the House of David is based on Joseph's lineage, which, if Joseph wasn't his father, is spurious.
If one accepts the virgin birth and believes that God was his father, then he didn't have a paternal Grandfather - unless, of course, scientists claim it was 'the big bang', and no - I'm not being blasphemous.

Jacob was the father of Joseph and so was Jesus' grandfather, but I don't know who Mary's parents were. Jesus genealogy is listed in the first chapter of the book of Matthew.

jesus doe's not have a grandfather for he was god in flesh god created both egg and hemaglomen in the womans womb mary's job was just to give birth to what god had already made mary had nothing to do with his conception or else jesus had sinful blood so then is gods blood holy or not if it is holy blood then mary had no part of her blood in him.[period]

Wouldn't it be God's dad though. Since God is the father of all creation, I guess that he does not have a Dad per se. What about on Mary's side though?
