i downloaded it and people are telling me to go to add/remove programs and click microsoft IE7 or whatever but i dont have anything even close to that. so i redownloaded it to see if it would come up but it didnt. what do i do to undownload it? please help

There is no undownload. Just delete the file you downloaded before. If you never installed it, you can't remove like people are telling you to do.

I think they're saying to remove it because it's really in it's beta stage at the moment. By "add/remove programs" they mean click on your start button, than click on control panel, and once that window opens there should be an icon that says add/remove programs that you can double-click. In there you can select to remove IE7 if you wish. I personally suggest downloading Mozilla Firefox as a web browser.

if u want to uninstall ie 7...go to start..control panel...add/remove programs
scroll down until u see WINDOWS internet explorer 7
select uninstall and u should be fine
why do u want to uninstall it...it is a real nice web browser
and it is fast
HMM..are u sure u are installing it? i know sometimes u go through the process and it does not install....u have to do it in safe mode with networking....it was something about the registery

this is how it is done

hit on >start>control panel>add remove >check mark on da top of >add remove >show up dates<< then look for (IE7 ) hit on that then hit remove . (IE7) will uninstall and your system will re-run (IE6) no need to download (IE6) again
