My Mom had knee surgery. Her skin hurts before and still after. Is this normal or another problem?

the skin has lots of nerve endings
they have been cut/severed and trying to regrow/connect
yes it will hurt/burn for up to a year after surgery

I just had knee surgery two days ago and i am fine. I don't know why her skin hurts but i would get her to a doctor to see what is going on ???????????????

Probably normal unless the operation took place a long while ago.
