a day ago I a hard bump under my chin near my throat I was wondering what could it be and if it's something bad. When I push the bump it feels hard and hurts but not very painful

You need to see a doctor. It's possible you could have Mumps.

Not sure how big this bump is, but your thyroid gland, as well as lymph nodes are in that area. Have your doctor check it out to confirm exactly what's going on.

It's most likely a lymph node, which isn't worrisome unless it continues growing or getting more sore or painful. Most swollen lymph nodes will resolve on their own. If it doesn't go away in a week or so, call your doctor just to make sure.

Hmmm... sure its not just your Adam's apple? Is it really not so much right under the chin as at the very top of your throat, where it meets the underside of your jaw?

Just to be on the safe side I would recommend that you see a doctor for this. It may be nothing, but it could be a thyroid condition, swollen gland, spider bite, etc...
I'm not trying to scare you, but better safe than sorry.

Good chance it is a rash from drooling or rubbing against a damp bib or shirt collar. My daughter gets this as well. Almost impossible at this age to keep a dry bib on her with all that drooling.

That bump is just either an ingrown pimiple or a sabaceous gland that is swollen, I had tons of that shitt all over my face. Almost 99.9% sure. check with your doc for that 0.01%

swollen glands are very common under the chin and along the lower jaw bone, usually you have a very small internal infection in your system and the glands are fighting it...
