It depends how badly it's broken. But I'm a firm believer that time heals everything...even broken hearts. So just give it time.

it depends on the person, allow yourself time to heal. sometimes it may take forever, but it's better to heal slowly and feel the pain, give yourself time. everybody gets over a broken heart. good luck

I wish I knew I don't think you ever get over it I think you just put it behind you and move on there are always things that are going to remind you of the past but after time they don't sting so much

Well... My ex-girlfriend told me, (after us dating for 3 months), that she was actually didn't want to hold my hand in public because she was ashamed to. Needless to say, if she would have shoved a butcher knife in my gut and twisted it, it probably would have felt better. That was 16 years ago, I haven't, and will not, forgive her for what she said, Honestly I haven't even as much as hugged a woman since then. TIME DOES NOT HEAL ALL WOUNDS!
