I'm a muslim and cant seem to find anything about Déjà vu, how does islam explain this phenomenon? Thank you.

the closest i can get to that is that the prophet [as] said dreams are from three.Allah,shaytan,your self[nafs].you will notice that Allah says that when you sleep your soul is returned to you before you wake.where do you think it went? it went on a dream thats where.and being that the rasul said dreams are 1/40 part prophesy,some have very vivid and true life properties.so if you find your self somewhere in your dream and then feel like you been there before when your awake, maybe you have.

The teachings of Islam are silent on the matter. Truth be told, déjà vu is merely a perceptual phenomenon.

I would think something like that would be very hard to explain, let alone beleive. But it does exist. Why-I don't know.

They don't. At least as far as I know.
