You know what, the bible states that those who receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, will be in heaven with him.

But for the unsaved and all those who reject the free gift of God,
they will be cast into the lake of fire the second death.
Hell is the first place of torment for the dead unsaved.

Read Luke chapter 16, verses 19 through 31. This is a true story that the Lord Jesus is telling.

Read also Revelation chapter 20 verses 11 through 15.

Hopefully you get the full picture of where those who do very bad things go.

The Bible states that those who are judged by God to be unrighteous are condemned to "the second death;" those who believe in God and follow Jesus' teachings "will not perish but will have everlasting life." This seems to say that Hell is not a place of eternal agony that most people hold to be true, but rather that it is just non-existence with no chance of redemption. So yes, you'll go to Hell if you do bad things (which everyone does) but do not repent and follow Christ, but it's probably not what many say it is.

who told you the Bible doesn't mention hell and who told you it wasn't real.
if you've read the Bible then you would see it's plain to see that Hell exists and is stated in the Word of God and if you don't repent and accept Jesus as your personal savior you will go to hell whether or not you lived a good or bad life according to human standards. you have fallen short of God's standard and will suffer the consequences since you had a chance to choose eternal life through Jesus

The Bible does not talk about Hell at all -- it is a myth created by false teachers who call themselves "Christians."

Jesus talked of a place called Gehenna -- a place where trash was tossed and bodies were thrown amongst it. The trash was on fire all the time, and rats ate their way through the trash. That's where "hellfire" came from -- the fires in the trashpits of Gehenna. That's where the "gnashing of teeth" came from -- the rats who were eating the bodies and garbage.

Jesus explained that there was only one place to be when you die: with Him, or annihilated. If you did not accept Jesus as the Savior, the worst that would happen to you is your soul would be gone, and your physical body tossed in the earth to be eaten by scavengers (or burned with the fires in the trash heaps).

Most Christians don't follow Jesus -- they judge others, they use force against others, they hate others, they want to control others. Christ never said to do these things, unfortunately the false teachers of religion love the power over others.

The bible says there is a hell. Jesus taught there was a hell. With regard to your other question, please listen to this simple and true answer: the only escape from hell is belief in Jesus as your savior. Repent of your sins, accept Him...and you won't have to worry about it!

Yes there is a hell and no,it is not here on earth. The old saying goes that the only hell Christians will ever see is here on earth, and the same is sort of like that for non-Christians, the only heaven they will ever see is here on earth.

Hell is a real place where there is weaping and knashing of teeth(pain). I suggest you avoid it be trusting in Jesus for salvation.
