Personally, I'd go with that one that says that all those old prophets lived 700 to 900+ years old, as no carbon-based living creature can possibly do. That was a hoot!

some trees live to be 5,000 years old, (the bristlecone pine), but no moving creature on earth can live past 240 years, it is impossible for cell division to occur any longer. The absolute maximum that man can live is 140 years!

Where do you want to get started? They say God created the Earth in 7 days, yet if the Earth wasn't formed and hence there were no days then how can it state that it was formed in any number of days? The Bible should have used hours instead, but we're supposed to take it literally so the Bible crashes itself.

That God took six days to make everything.

As your power and ability increases, the time it takes you to do one thing decreases. Since God's power and ability are supposedly absolute, then he could do literally anything instantaneously. Why, then, did it take him any length of time to get everything going?

In Genesis 2:17, God told Adam that if he ate of the fruit from the tree of knowledge, he would die on that very day. In Genesis 3:16 he eats of it - yet somehow he lives for another 930 years (gen 5:5). If that was dying, what are we doing now, hyperdying?

I don't recall if it's the Old or New Testament, but there's one that says, "I am". How about, " Almighty God created the Heavens and the Earth in 6 days and then He got tired and had to rest on the 7th..

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction

You're genius. The people trying to rationalize the verses are funnier that the OT verses. Was that intentional?

What do you mean no carbon-based creature could do it? There is a creosote bush that has lasted almost 12,000 years. I agree that the claim is ridiculous but please don't imitate the fundamentalists in the use of bad science.

Why is that funny? Who says that no carbon based living creature can live that long? Why is that not possible?

Some turtles can live to be 250+ years old. Some trees can live to be 2,000+ years old. And you're doubting that it was "immpossible" for GOD to allow man to live to be the SAME age as those?

In my NAB Bible, there's a verse in the Joseph story where the bothers say, "Had we not dilly-dallied, we would have been there [egypt] and back twice now!" It is just a translation, but to me, it seems highly unrealistic that that would be the direct translation.
