My ancestors created the "claddaugh ring" and they also owned a farm in Ireland. Say i was going to go there this febuary.. Where could i find out information about my family?

Your ancestors didn't creat the claddagh ring. The legend of the ring is well known. If your ancestors created it then you would know exactly who they all were. Two links are included to give proof to the history. Someone in your family has been telling tales. Now the best way to do research would be to start with the last name of the farm owner.
