I have read a lot about cleansing diets and programs for the past twenty+ years, but this one with the ice, I've never heard. You can fast for a day on water, but it won't be very good for you, nor does it necessarily cause you to lose weight. It will get your body using itself for fuel, but it is always a bad idea to make your body devour protein from its own resources, unless death is the alternative. If you want to be sick, weak and woozy, this is the way to go.
Hopefully you can find something more healthy and less dramatic to change your diet to something more suitable. If you eat more fiber, you will feel more full and can eat less food. If you add whole grains and raw vegetables, fruits and cut out sugar and fried foods you will lose weight and be healthier for the rest of your life. You may not lose pounds in record time, but if you change your diet permanently by improving it, you will live better longer.

This is both a yes and no answer. No in the way that just drinking water and eating ice will make you lose 45 lbs, cause that only happens in a dream world. But drinking extra water WILL help because by drinking water, it causes fat molecules to undergo hydration, and hydration breaks the fat cells apart, sends them through the blood stream and out your body on the urine boat. This may sound like the big answer, but it isn't because unless your body is using those fat molecules for energy, it doesn't want to give them up. It turns away the water because your body is in the mode that if it loses those molecules, your body will not have an energy. By exercising, your body is using those fat molecules for energy, and the molecules come out of their "protective bubbles" allowing water to reach them, break them apart, and take them out of the body, thus, making you thinner. This, however, does not, and will never, happen overnight. It takes time. Depending on your exercise and diet, it may take a year, more than that, or less than that.

Drinking water will help flush your system. Before you start any weight loss program ,you need to get a checkup with your doctor to check your heart etc. then you need to join a gym .Not only will they help you with a exercise program, but they can help you with a healthy eating plan. It is hard to say how long to lose the weight, it will depend on your level of exercise compared to what you eat. But to have success with weight loss and keeping it off, you need to allow 12 months for your healthy eating and exercise program to be really your new way of life. good luck, you have everything to look forward to - especially a healthy and fit body.

That's crap. The best way to cleanse your body is to sweat it out. Eat a sugar-free, salt-free and fat-free diet, exercise 2-3 times a week, 45-1hr per session and you will lose unwanted fat. But keep in mind that you sweat when you exercise.

I don't know I don't think you should do an all liquid thing even for one day but just slowly progress into it it'll be easier and probably healthier. I'm not an expert but it sounds kind of weird.
