Now some of the dumber ideas are rattling a can or spraying her with water. Uh huh.. you are going to carry something around for the rest of her life and Labs LOVE water. All the dog learns is no gadget,do what they want.
Honestly these amatuers and their gadgets! Too lazy to learn how to train a dog and they depend upon crutches.
You always have your hands and your voice - use them.
Stop jumping by any of these methods:
(1) A loud “No” and push her off and hold her down and scold her with “Bad, Bad Bad”. Then tell her “Okay,” let her up and give her a pat (if she doesn’t leap again.)
(2) A loud “No” and time it so that as she comes off the ground, you bring your foot forward and step on her back foot.
(3) A loud “No” and as she comes up off the ground, raise your knee so that she hits it with her chest and bounces off.
(4) If she jumps up on others, get a leash and collar on her. Set her up so she gets exicted and does th ejumping up on someone else. As she leaves the gtound, haul back on the leash jerkiing her backwards,, give a roaring NO (in a DEEP voice - don't let your voice go up, make it go down), and as she comes backwards, grab her, pin her to the ground and scold in an authoriatrian voice. Let her up - relax you voice and face, tell her "calm" and let her approach the person. If she keesp all 4 feet on the ground, she gets petted. She leaps, do it again....
Be 110% consistent. She'll get the idea.
AND
Now you both need a GOOD obedience class - and that is NOT Petsmart or Petco.
As soon as she is 5-6 months and finished with her vaccinations take her to school.
GO here to find contacts in you area that can help you locate and obedience trainer who works with all breeds and who does AKC obedience competitions competing at what they claim to teach – no proof of ability like winning:

the best thing that works, is keep a leash at the door and when you know there will be visitors putit on her make her sit and wait to be petted, then if they approch adn she jumps pull her back and make her sit, leep it up until they can reach her with out being jumped on then they can give her treats and pet her, she will learn that she needs to be sitting to get affection, and treats. I know it takes alot of time to do this but it is well worth the effort, If you get unexpected geust you could have them turn thier back and step into her while saying down, or off, then you put her into a sit and practice the sit and treat thing. Good luck it worked with my dogs.

I took my chocolate lab to a 7 week training and the instructor told me to knee it on the chest when it jumps on you. I had heard that before and always thought it was cruel, but she says it's not, it's showing them that your the "alpha" and they need to stay down. She did say the one thing not to do is "push it away from you with your hands" because a dogs instant reaction is to keep coming back, so a swift knee to the chest where it shocks the dog should help.

Generally I prefer reward to punishment but in this case, punishment works best. When the dog jumps, the person jumped on should step on the dog's hind foot while saying "Off." No need to crush the foot, obviously, but step hard enough to be painful.
The command "Down" means something else, so when the dog jumps, say "Off." She will soon get the message.

U need to be on the ball especially around small children. If u dont want her to jump up at people whenu have friends around put her on a lead and be there to hold the dog back. Dogs r like kids if they get away with it once they will keep doin it. good luck

I second the recommendation of leashing the pup whenever visitors come over and requiring a SIT before anyone shows her affection. This is the best way to firmly teach the dog, and the easiest on visitors.
Asking company to train your dog is not fair to them. Asking them to cause your dog pain, even mild discomfort, is not right. Instead, YOU need to be the boss, insisting on proper behavior by ordering her to sit, using the leash as needed until she starts to catch on.

Tell your visitors that when the dog jumps up, to turn around and ignore the dog. by doing this the dog is not rewarded for her behavior, and eventually she'll get the idea. Good Luck.

When larger dogs jump up on people they need to bring their knee up (not real hard) to the dogs chest. This worked for our neighbor. Remember just the knee, not hard and not a kick... Good Luck!

My lab used to jump on people , we used the stepping on his hind feet to break him and it worked very fast. A light tap to the nose helps to show disapproval . Labs are very committed to pleasing their owners and pick up on displeasure with there behavior fairly well.
