We're scared that maybe you don't mean it. Or if you say it right at the start of the relationship we know you don't mean it. We're scared of getting hurt. We like when a guy says they love us when we know we are head over heels in love with them too.

Best I can tell, they want to be the ones to say it first. It can scare them if they aren't ready to say it back. I know it bugged the crap out of me once when I couldn't say it back. Ultimately, I fell in love with her but a few days after she couldn't forgive me for not loving her as soon as she loved me and she now has a new boyfriend. Oh well. LOL. Other than that, it REALLY sucks to tell someone that and then not hear it back. From the statistics that I've researched, one has about 7 days to tell the other person that they love them back before the relationship falls apart forever...

how to show us you mean it? well, you could start by not trying to get in our pants all the time, and show us you can wait til we are ready. also, try telling us how you feel, and don't be an a hole. don't be the b i t c h, and do everything we tell you, but, do the reasonable stuff, and with a little angst. just spend time with us, and show us that you can have a good time with us, just watching a movie, or whatever, and that you aren't out for a piece. k?

we're scared because that phrase is very deceiving.. we're scared of getting hurt.. i think that you must show sincerity with your actions so that girls will know that you really mean what you've said.
