How many of you men out there like talking to educated women?

Guys usually tells me that am smart and they enjoy talking to me. But a friend of mine told me that that's bad, because men don't like smart women.
So guys honestly is that true?

Your friend doesn't have a clue. If you want a relationship you must communicate. And you do. This is obvious because the guys tell you that 'you are smart and enjoy talking to you.' Is your friend jealous??

Just be yourself! Don't act 'uneducated.' It's phony and a turnoff.

I love talking to smart women, to smart anyone really. It can very tiresome talking to complete idiots where you have to explain everything or alter words in a phrase before using it to ensure being understood. It is like having two conversations at once!

What you said is not totally untrue. I have a friend who's now working at a massive Wall Street firm, and he said that he would never get a wife that was more intelligent than him because it would be too much competition. Moreso, he would only want an averagely pretty wife because he would not want her to make him look bad in anyway (he's pretty damned ugly!).

He is probably the only person I have ever met with this attitude, but I generally do not talk to people like him. He is totally obsessed by his career and by money. he thinks he knows everything, but is very naiive about most subjects apart from what he specialises in. He's a nice enough guy, although he tends to make light of other people's problems then gets upset if the same is done to him! Haha, he is just one unstable person (despite everyone thinking otherwise due to his job).

It's actually quite pathetic that someone would limit who they could be with just because they are so insecure that they cannot stand to have competition.

To say in general that men don't like talking to smart women is like saying that all women are essentially gold diggers. We both likely agree that that is not true.
Here is the real deal. There are all kinds of men out there and with that comes may different preferences in women.
There is no real way to determine the "profile" of the type of men that would like a smart woman.
There are men who like smart women. Where do you find them?
Good question. My point is that they do exist.
Finally, the truth is that there are men who like educated women and then there are those who don't.

That's very untrue! I don't want a rocket scientist, but I want someone I can sit and have an intelligent conversation with from time to time. But also someone who likes being goofy and joke around too. It's just hard to find both, you either find one or the other!

But smart girls are very very attractive!!

I'd love to meet a smart woman. There are almost none out there. Either they don't exist or stay home. Regardless, I wonder if they would be any better in bed than a dumb woman.
