After many years of suffering from the scars I went for dermabrasion. I was so thrilled to get it done, I didn't mind the little bit of discomfort during the procedure. Even the office staff was happy for me. I had a bandage over all my face except eyes, mouth, nose. Some days later some stuff had to gradually peel off of my face and it did. I was more than sad when the "holes" were still there. I think the doctor did his best but my scars were too deep. This was 10 years ago. I would like to try again. Maybe there is something new. My best to you. I know exactly how it is.
I don't think everyone understands that when you have scars or pitting a cream is not going to help.

Nah, microdermabrasion doesn't really do anything for acne scars and if it does, the scars would most likely be very superficial (shallow and small). And with that, the effects and benefits of microdermabrasion isn't even permanent -- as is with Laser Resurfacing, dermabrasion, chehmical peels, etc..
If your scarring is a little deep or severe, I'd definitely say subcision or fat injections are the better way to go. It's more permanent.
For shallow scarring ... well, the two procedures above would work. I'm still doing my own research on this. Anyway, all I can say is, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, chemical peels, laser resurfacing --> not permanent. Fat injections, subcision --> more permanent and therefore, better.

I have had it done a few times. I don't have scars though, I just wanted to improve the texture of my skin.
You would have to make sure you don't have any pimples/infections at the time you want to do it because it may spread the infection or irritate it.
It would also probably take quite a few sessions to see results on scars etc.
You are best off speaking with a beautician first, because there maybe other more effective treatments such as IPL.

I had an a lot of acne all over my face and back 6 months ago. I tried many natural remedies but not a single one worked well for me. Within a short time I consulted many dermatologists, they just suggested me to have less oily food and the acne will be removed with the time. I was like what the hell they suggested me. Then one of my friend told me to try http://remove-acne-fast.com/
Before trying the course I was thinking it is again a non-sense acne treatment programme but after 2 weeks I could see the significant change in my skin. I am very happy with my skin now its superb now and just a small bit of scars are visible but I am sure within a few weeks they will be completely healed.
Good luck :)

I would do some reasearch on the web and then go talk to a dermatologist about what procedure would be best for your skin and scarring. Whatever you do, don't waste your money on those home dermabrasion kits, they don't work and neither do scar creams. If perfect skin could be bought at your local drugstore, we'd all have it. :)

yes....i use the Nutragena Micr. Kit...I love it... No down time...just like washing your face. No burning ..no scabs...nothing you 'll notice a difference the first time. And it's done at home...nothing else has ever worked...within one week about 75% was gone...after one month...i didn't see anymore. I use this now twice a week and i think by using it...it cleared more than anything...any returning ance . Just use a good cleaner and toner after wards...for $40.00 you can't go wrong...tried and tested...A++++++++++old scars old skin...it cleans and brightens the skin..it is so balanced ..i don't know why i hadn't done it before....

They say it's good, but I couldn't afford it. So far, the best I've tried is Cover Girl advanced radiance lotion. You should try it, too. Here's a good site http://www.upkb.com/covergirl.php for product tips and details.

It depends how badly scarred you are. It should greatly improve the scars if not remove them altogether. There are home versions that you can try as well.
