See your doctor. Some anti-biotics are safe during all stages of pregnancy. If you want to avoid taking them, maybe he can recommend something else.

Get to the doctor ASAP!!!
I had a UTI when I was preg and left it untreated. For about a wk. It then turned into a kidney infection and I was hospitalized for 2 wks and I was in shere agony!!
There are safe antibiotics they can give you for this. But please do go to the dr soon and get them before the situation gets worse. The stronger the antibiotics will have to be the worse. Plus I was in so much pain they had to give me shots of Stadal, every 4 hrs. Which is really not good.
And Linda L, for someone saying that on one reputable would be giving medical advice online - you sure had a lot to say yourself didn't you? We are just offering up suggestions. Chill out. Just because we are not LPN's, CNA's, or RNA's does not mean we have no experience with life and are dummies. You don't need a degree to have some common sense and want to help ppl.

Either go to the doctor or buy the pee strips and test at home (however they come in packs of 100 and are only good for one year.)
Having a UTI when pregnant is dangerous because there is a greater chance that the infection will spread to your kidneys. It is best to know and then you can figure on a cource of action. However if you do not have burning you probably don't have a UTI.
Also your doc probably checks at each prenatal appointment.

It could be many things all of which are easily treated. The answers could also vary depending how far along you are and what kind of medical history. It could vary from just the weight of the baby and the shifting of your uterus to a medical condition such as urinary tract infection or gestational diabetes mellitus. As a nurse professional, I do suggest a few things. Share your concerns with your OB/GYN or doctor following care, rest and put your feet up whenever possible, watch your diet to avoid all those sugar and starch soaked foods, and don't base your decisions on anyone giving medical advise on line. NO ONE reputable should be diagnosing or suggesting treatment to anyone they've never examined or assessed. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy...be blessed.

It could just be your baby pushing on your bladder. I had to pee alot when I was pregnant with my boys. Normally if it is a UTI then you have a burning sensation when you pee and you may have some lower back pain. I have had a couple of them, they are not fun and they do cause lots of pain, trust me! If it continues to bother you, call your doctor and let him know. That is what they are there for.

I agree with Linda the nurse. I am also a nurse, and a mother, and the symptoms you are feeling could be any number of things - from normal pregnancy symptoms, to a UTI to gestational diabetes. The most important thing to do is the speak with your DR - not because I think you may be very sick, but because you are obviously worried about it, and the only way you are going to get peace of mind is by being examined properly - not by reading our responses on the net! Goodluck with it all!

Cranberry juice is not a cure for a uti. Cranberry extract is said to help prevent getting a uti. Your doctor will make sure that you take a safe antibiotic if needed. though common in pregnancy uti could be a cause for harm if left untreated. Please call your doctor
good luck
