Is there a way to get Target or any other internet connected service to print them smaller so the entire photo fits? Thank you.

If you order 4:6 prints and don't want them to crop the file, send in 4:6 files. That may require you to add a band to the top or side of your files, and chop those bands away on a cutting machine (or with a razor) when you get the prints back.
Or to play it real safe, add a white or black frame all around the image. If you use Photoshop, you can automate this and batch process entire folders of pictures with an action.

There may be a fix for this, but I'm going to tell you how to do it using Walmart services because they're the only one I use and that's what I know. I hope I don't confuse you.

First of all I recommend going to the store and doing it on their kiosk because there are more editing functions than using their online services. But you can also try going to walmart.com and uploading a photo to see if it can do what you want it to do.

Different size prints print differently. The same goes for a photo you have cropped yourself, especially if you cropped it irregularly. I'll take you through the process using Walmart's online services. If you go into the store just ask one of the staff to help you use the kiosk.

Go to walmart.com and find "Photo" under Services on the left hand side. Sign up for an account and when you're done, download a photo. Click on the photo (I'd use one you've had a problem printing) It'll take you to a screen where the photo is larger.

On the right of that screen click on Edit and Organize. Under Edit and Organize click on Fix and Enhance. On the next screen click on the Crop tab. Under the "Apply Crop" button click on the underlined link that says "size crop tool". That will bring up options for 4x6, 5x7, etc. Choose the size photo you want to print.

A shaded area will appear and that is the part of the photo that will be printed. Click anywhere on the shaded area to move it. You can also make adjustments from the sides and corners. Just play with it until you get what you are looking for. Then click on "Apply Crop" and it will then show you what the printed photo will look like.

I hope this helps.

No. Its all automated. Most printing machines used by drug stores and the like will crop into your negative slightly. Just the nature of the beast. If you want cheap prints, you get cheap results.

No. Just be careful with your cropping. If you are cropping from the sides, crop some frome the top or bottom too.
