What should I do?
I have to go into a lion's den of people who I think know something personal about me.

What do you think I should wear?

You don't have to go anywhere and if what she said will make you feel really uncomfortable then I would not go. Also, why would you want to go to a party at the house of someone who would betray you?

To be honest, I don't think you should be worrying about what you should be wearing....

If your going to a Lion's den, you might as well bring some tranquilizer bullets incase the tigresses break out in a fight--sorry,---but seriously....

first, your so called "good" friend isn't much a friend in the first place having shared something about you...but since your not sure, I'd personally go to the party. If people to ask you-then tell them what's really up. If things go out of control and that bad feeling kicks in-then leave.

It really has to do with your feelings, I'd trust your instincts if I were you.

Even if you did go and things go horribly wrong...at least you know who to tell apart, from your real friends and the jack as*es

(but if you really want an answer for what to wear, try something comfortable)

Bring a shot-gun, a spear, a pocket knife, a steak knife, an electric saw, and some wipes! For the blood... If you want to get away with it! Also you might want some plastic gloves! If anyone asks why you have all of that stuff tell them that you have poop problems. Wear a thong! Or go naked!

Your choice! But I would go, and wear the most gorgeous outfit I could afford. Not slutty, tasteful. Something no one could find fault with.
And I would hold my head up. People will doubt your friend and wonder if she was telling the truth if you show up.
Or do not go, and find another better friend! Real friends do not gossip mean about friends!

You don't "have" to do anything! Why the hell would you want to go to a girl's party when you think she's bitched about you behind your back?

Have some self respect and don't go near that party or the back stabbing *****.

Good luck.

Fairly certain? I would have to be absolutely certain. Assumptions are not good for a healthy friendship. Go directly to your "good friend" and ask her.

I'd would ask her right up front if the rumor was true. If it is , don't go. Don't ever put yourself in a position you don't want to be in.

Just go and be yourself. Don't worry about your friend telling everyone that you are a go go dancer.
