Not at all. Im a young adult christian who has chosen chastity untill marriage. I think this choice gives you more of an opportunity to get to know someone. I dont think this will drive me to get married to soon. And i ask you for an example of someone who would have figured out much earlier that they were incompatible. So your saying that sex is the only way to find out if your compatible? thats some logic there.

I have stayed chaste for 31 years because I have not found the right man for me. I therefore know it is possible. I don't mean to say that it is necessarily easy for everyone. But I do think that waiting until marriage is a very healthy and good practice, with many rewards.
Along with teaching our children to wait, we should also teach them the proper values to look for in a mate. We should make sure they realize that marriage cannot be as perfect as they may dream it would be. And we need to prepare them for having a healthy relationship.
