There are some gels out there that will give you the wet look without hardening your hair. Check out a beauty supply store that carries a number of products for hair stylist - the clerk will be happy to recommend something for you (see the second link).

If you want that wet look use water but the wet look is trashy and greasy looking. The new look for hold is the matte clay finish it looks sort of like beach hair but smooth and without damage. Stay away from wet look and steer towards matte clay it looks really hot.

Right out of the shower towel dry, then add anti-frizz cream and comb through then flip your head upside down and apply moose to the roots ( the upside down part makes it so your hair doent look flat) blow dry for like 20 seconds, then dot he rest of your head with lite hold moose or I like to use Aussie Sprunch Spray cause it doesnt get the hair all hard.

When you get out of the shower, gel it and scrunch it. Don't touch it after you've scrunched it, or else it'll probably get really frizzy. Hope I helped!
