In a library that uses the Dewey decimal system, the Bible is shelved with the non-fiction. In a Library of Congress Library, the Bible and is located in BX section (non-fiction.)

It's in non-fiction as well as any sub-category which is an area of study, eg. in the Dewey classificaton system, philosophy is 100, religion is 200, etc...
Under the classification 200 is a bunch more sub-categories, eg. "Natural theology" and "Other & comparative religions, mythology" and the subcategory for the bible falls in as #220.
