EASYWAY – ALLEN CARR

It is a method by which instead of dealing with the chemical addiction – although nicotine is the easiest to be addicted to it is not that strong in that withdrawal is really not a big problem - it is the psychological side that is dealt with. It essentially de-programs your attitude towards smoking.

The method does not use gimmicks like nicotine replacement, it does not require any will power what-so-ever, it does not result in weight gain, no shock methods, you can carry on smoking through the course, and once you are done you are a none-smoker with no feelings of depression, no withdrawal or feeling deprived – just a happy ex-smoker. It also addresses many of the social issues, such as latest anti-smoking attitudes within society, that I found very helpful and I wish more non-smokers would read this book to better understand the problem of smoking, we'd have a lot less miserable ex-smokers and a lot less smokers if more people read these books or attended the clinics.

Easyway books have been international best sellers for over 20 years now, the clinics cost £200 on average for not just one session but any additional sessions you may like, they have a full money back guarantee – the clinics have a 90% SUCCESS RATE!

The books can be bought from Amazon for as little as £0.14 used/new, if you look through his books there are quite a few variations, the books are essentially the same as what you'd get taught during the sessions via the clinics, they are just a different way of getting the information to you.

QUITTING SMOKING DOES NOT NEED TO BE DIFFICULT!!

The Allen Carr organisation is now considered to be the leading authority on stopping smoking and clinics based on the method are established across the globe. The Allen Carr organisation helps approximately ¾ million smokers a year to discover what Allen Carr discovered in 1983, an easy way to get free! In the last 20 years we estimate that Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking has cured more than 10 million smokers worldwide.

P.S. Don't you just F'ing hate non-smokers and anti-smokers answering this, what the hell do they hope to accomplish by treating you like an idiot or coming out with such idiotic ideas?

By learning about yourself, you can strengthen your will-power.

Quitting smoking is a great opportunity to learn about ourselves, as you have already observed.
Congratulate yourself on having the desire to stop - then you are over the worst, but still need to maintain your resolve. It's just so easy to start thinking that just one won't hurt, but it does. Just one achieves nothing except feeling the need for another. Whatever you do, don't have just one. Beware - alcohol will weaken your resolve.
Here's a few home-brewed tips that might be useful.
It's not just nicotine addiction - there are 50+ chemicals in cigarettes. Also the main problem is habit.
We have been used to having body sensations which we translate as 'my body needs something', which we have attempted to satisfy by having a cigarette.
When we try to stop smoking, we still get these 'my body needs something' sensations, and we still feel that we want a cigarette. We have to train our body to be more selective. When we feel we need something, we have to work out what it is that we actually need.
A glass of water is an excellent substitute if nothing else comes to mind, as it helps with the clearance of the toxic substances in our body. Another good substitute is a bag of salted peanuts, used in combination with the water.
Another thing to do is to find an activity which occupies the mind or body. Go swimming - nobody wants to smoke while they are swimming. Slowly, as our body adjusts and translates the 'want something' feelings into something other than cigarettes, then the feelings begin to go away. We know its not a cigarette that the body really needs, because as soon as we've had one we still have the feeling, and want another!
We will have a few bouts of feeling or even being short tempered. We must try to bite our lip, and control ourselves. Recognise the short temper as being the removal of toxins which are trying to find a way out. They went in through the mouth, and they try to get out that way to. We must learn to keep our mouth closed, and force the toxins out the other way.

After we have stopped for a while we will begin to feel that just one wont to any harm.
All that leads to is a desire for just another one. We must guard very strongly against the desire to have just one.

Is this an intellectual question? Or are you serious? How badly do you want to stop? Really? Total focus? You have to have this as the most important thing in the world to you before you will even begin to put into place all the support items you will need to make it work. If you are not at that special place yet, then keep asking questions and gathering information and at some point you will begin to put it all behind you once and for all. I had to be scared to death before I would quit drinking alcohol. That was eighteen years ago. It was not will power on my part, it was good, old fashioned fear. And I never want to go through withdrawal again, neither. I encourage you to just keep looking at the possibility of being completely smoke free. Keep your focus on the outcome. That will help to inform and summon what you personally need to do to make it your reality. Sent with healing energies from Chris, in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. You don't need willpower, that is just an idea you have been brainwashed with – your damned if you do smoke, damned if you don't, society sure likes to **** smokers over don't it? You don't need gimmicks either, replacing one drug with another is stupid enough, more so when it is a drug with such limited effects on your body!

Go do a search on Easyway or Allen Carr, you can buy the books really cheaply from Amazon and you'll be perfectly happy with quitting smoking, it does exactly what it says on the tin – it's an easy way to quit smoking….you don't need to suffer smoking anymore, and you don't need to suffer difficulties quitting (why people insist on telling smokers this I'll never know!!!)

Remember….

run out of money, and only buy food. choose between food and cigs, cig prices are designed for the underclasses to eat cheap food, therefore, die, before the government has to pay a wad in pension at old age, they hoping no one will get that old, in that ciggy class. Fight back. No nicorete, not will power, take heroin instead, really give them a run for their money.....

Just tell yourself, " if you carry on smoking, your going to die," thats what I did. I had my last cigarette at 11pm on Friday 13th February 1998 and I haven't had one since. No patches ,no nicorette, just will power and the fear of dying before my time and believe me I never had a strong will power.

The thing is, you really don't need to have willpower to stop smoking. It's your mind that's addicted to the f*ags, not your body - so you just need to learn to think about it differently.

I can highly recommend Allan Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. Buy it - the best fiver you'll ever have spent.

Lock yourself in a room without fags and get your family to feed you through a letterbox in the door. I'm sure overtime you'll choose freedom over smoking lol. Maybe I should try that!
