If there was absolute, incontroversial proof, that God did not exist, would you still believe God existed in spite of this?

Since an atheist exists only because God exists for some. If God did not exist for the whole of humanity then that undermines the existense of atheists as well.

Sort of like light has no meaning without darkness or the other way round - whichever way you want to look at it.

But belief also creates God. And once God is created the proof that existed in the first place against God becomes null and void as well.

By the way, I ve always wondered what one would accept as proof for the acceptance of god or against god? What your take on such a proof?

Plenty of people would still believe, because plenty of people base their beliefs on something other than reason and evidence - Wishful or fearful thinking, for example.

In reality, the existence of a god was never a tenable idea in the first place.

There is no way to prove god doesn't exist but if there was his followers would still prattle on about "faith" and us not having any, which is much like telling a cow he lost the keys to the car.

It would be interesting to see you try, but no. My faith in God is not because I was made to believe what my parents did or because I "picked" it as my faith from all there was in the world, but because I asked him (with much doubt) to show me He was real and in a very personal way, He did. There is nothing that could change what I know to be the truth. Mine is not a blind faith, but a true relationship. May you find the truth you are seeking.

I already have incontrovertible proof that God does exist so I know this can't happen.

I would change from agnosticism to atheism. But I would still be a Buddhist...

There is NOT!!!!!!! it will never happen,it is impossible. humans have been trying to prove that for a long time, they have not been able to, Yet, many do state, that, as a fact, without any proof thereof. You too are dreaming, get real!

'God is dead!'
Neitzsche

'Neitzsche is dead'

What if? what if.... i see so many what if's posted on this site.... its not a matter of what if... its a matter of What IS....

God never calls anyone to prove him..... he does however call us to proclaim him and that I will gladly do.

You can "what if" until your blue in the face its dosnt matter. What if's never solve anything.

God bless you will be keeping you in prayer
