No, it means being satisfied with doing what God wants, and being happy with what you have.

The problem with desiring to do God's will is that you are never really sure what it is. You have to listen to the small voice within for guidance. You can be sure that if your are acting according to the will of God, you will feel good about it and it will be what you want ultimately.

God desires for us the best He can possibly give us. Which is more than we could give ourselves.
He made us, He knows us inside and out...He knows what would be best for us!
I know, even for me, sometimes I don't like what God seems to be wanting me to do. But I find, that if I surrender my will to His, and I go about the task with a positive attitude, that the task becomes a joy instead of a burden.
Hope that helps. I'm praying for you.

It shouldn't. If you are truly desiring God's will then you would only want that which is for you to have and you would not want any more than what He gives you. Sometimes you have what you really want but just don't realize it until you no longer have it.

Sometimes what we want is Gods will. Otherwise, yes you should follow his will for you if you want to be blessed and do the right thing.
Its when we come in conflict with his will that we lose blessings and may not always be as happy as we could be.
Sin was never happiness...

Sometimes. Because His will should come first in our life, before ours. The "will" of the flesh is to sin and to fulfill the lusts thereof.
