it happened in New Jersey. This violation happened while I am out of country. I am still in overseas. Is E-Pass violation recognized same as speed ticket violation?

No not at all. This is a non-moving violation. If anything the only record they will have was a toll violation on your tag which means absoulutley nothing unless your applying for a driving position.

I can't speak for your personal situation. But, as a truck driver, my ez-pass gets suspended on the 3rd speeding thru booth area violation (by my company). We've been told...again by my company, that it gets suspended for a year on the 4th violation, by the authorities (which can be in multiple states) thru ez-pass.

We've never had a "ticketed" violation, that required any of our drivers or company to pay a fine.

MY PERSONAL advice: Call and cancel your ez-pass, or simply suspend it until your return to the states if you are still outside the country.

I don't know what part of the country your in but if you were not driving the car then you may have some recourse. If you paid your fines without disputing it however you may have automatically assumed fault. If someone stole your car would you be responsible. Call your turnpike authority and be honest. Just ask the ? . You never know what you will find if you dont ask.
