*Unicorn on left ankle because I love the beauty they hold.
*Tiger on left hip because they are my favorite animal.
*Red rose w/To thine own self be true around it on left shoulder blade - speaks for itself.
*Tribal band on lower back because I think they're sexy.
*Cherokee star between shoulder blades - part of my heritage.
*Praying angel on right calf for my oldest daughter because she was a gift that saved me from my ways.
*Dolphin coming out of water wrapped in a music band on right calf for my youngest because it's her fav animal & she LOVES music.
*Kanji below my daughers tats that means Beloved Daughter (they don't use plurals).
*Trinity symbol in my birthstone on the side of my right calf - my sisters & I got together this summer & we all got it together each in our own color symbolizing sisterhood eternity.
*Broken heart with a tear drop on my right ankle for my soul mate because we can't be together at this time in our lives.
*Taz in a spin with the oopss look on his face on the left side of right calf for my son - speaks for itself.
All my tats have a purpose and meaning. I have 5 more in planning stages just waiting to build the funds. I have pictures but you'd have to contact me directly to see them. I started getting them when I was 12 and I'm now close to 40 & still don't regret any of them and they look great. So for those who say they will look groose when we get old - WRONG.

I have Phil Ochs tattooed on my arm (folk singer) I also have "Never Die" and a rose tattooed across my toes, with a tigerbat above the toes on my left foot for Tiger Army. I see me getting a couple more musician tattoos. I have an Ochs lyric tattoed across the back of my neck (Sacred are the scars) and an Op Ivy lyric across the insides of both arms (It's beautiful I would say... I wouldn't have it any other way.) I'm thinking about a hot-rod culture tat, skulls and roses and a banner, gotta pick the lyric to go in the banner though. As it stands today, I'd probably choose "In death as in life, I will arise" or "My conscience carries the weight of blood."

I have two tattoos and no pics.
My first one I got was on my left inside wrist. I've been wanting it since I first realized what it was. See, my dad has his last name in Chinese on his hand and I've wanted it since I was like 7. So, when I was 18 I made sure it really did say our last name and I got it.
The second one I took several months designing. It is a charm anklet with 7 charms (fave number) on a chain. Each charm represents something meaningful in my life. the biggest charm in the chinese character for 'father and daughter'.
Don't get tattoos because they're prettyful. Get them because they mean something.

i have 9 tattoos
1) a butterfly on top of my foot
2)three hearts with my childrens name in each one on my left leg
3)a moon coming up over water (a cover up)on my right leg
4) a very big butterfly on my lower back with roses going across the top
5) a good size sunflower on my left shoulder
6)three hugh flowers (a cover up)on my left upper arm
7) a vine of cherries going around my right arm
8) Daddy's girl with little tiny stars on the back of my neck
and last but not least
9) feathers with my name on my left breast
there is all sorts of reasons you could get a tattoo. but always remember tattoos are FOREVER so make sure it is something that will stay with you FOREVER believe me cover ups hurt a lot worst

Yes 12 the reasons are from death of my grandfather to a new job and 10 piercing your tattoo looks good

I have 4. A single rose on right leg, 2 roses with a cross on left leg, 3 rose buds with 3 roses on lower back, and 3 roses in between my shoulder blades. I love all my tats..can't wait to get more..

i have 1 tattoo at the moment but im getting my second one in 4 days :) , the one i already have says ( adam ) and its on my lower back . my reason for getting it was because i knew me and my fiance were going to be together forever , and that i could never love anyone as much as i loved him . ( i was 16 when i got the tattoo ) lol but were still together 5 years later .

Yes, I have one.......no pics, but it is on my right arm just below my shoulder and it is a pic of me as the representation of my Zodiac sign; Aquarius, the WaterBearer. I am pouring out water, and it has my birthdate on the jug. I got it because i wanted something that represents part of me, and also because I am pretty much everything that an Aquarian is supposed to be.

Yeah, I have 2. A cross on my right middle finger and a rose on my right upper arm. I don't really know why I got them, I just did. I am thinking of getting another, a large dragon on my back.
