I like them both ways, but I think since they usually come in the shell, I eat them that way. But they're best when they're roasted and salted :P

Soak them over night in salted water, then pat dry with a kitchen towel. Roast until golden brown in a 350 degree oven on a lightly buttered baking sheet and then salt or season to taste.
Eat in the shell or add to salads for a crunchy, toasty treat !

first gather the seeds from inside the pumpkin, clean most or all of the orange gunk off and spread them out on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle salt lightly across the seeds. put them in the oven just until they get slightly crispy (10-18 minutes)

I would roast them in the oven at a low heat.Put salt over them first. Then when they are dry they them out and cool. One can either bite or just crack them open with your nails.
I just eat the seeds. And every one else I know.

Clean & soak in salt water. Allow to dry a little, place on single layer on cookie sheet & roast in the oven until a tiny bit brown. Take them out, let them cool & pop the whole thing in your mouth!!!!
