According to my Great World Atlas, 2004, Mandarin (Chinese) is the most widely spoken, followed by English, then by Hindi (widely spoken in India), then Spanish then Russian.

anthro.palomar.edu lists Mandarin then Hindi then English. This data was taken in 2000.

Not suprisingly, then you will find that China is the Most Populous Country, then India, then USA

I think the language that has most native speakers is chinese language that is mandarin,because China is the most populous state and chinese is spreading out everywhere in this world.

Cninese Mandarin more or less 800 millions of people speak this language only in China we have to add in the rest of the world
