why is there such a good connotation to living like it the last day of your life. Human nature is self gratification If you really lived everyday as if it was your last you would care mostly about your self first. Thats not a good way to live your life. Be Honest with your self.
so to answer your question yes, it would be the end of the world very shortly.

If people knew what their last day would be like, I don't think they would be to happy about it so, yes - they would act differently because they would be more miserable than usual.

Yes they would. I believe a lot of people take life for granted, it is always best to live every day like it is your last. Especially when dealing with people you love, your actions affect everyone!

Yes.
No one would ever go to work or buy a week's worth of groceries again. What you'd end up with is global starvation, rampant disease, and a total lack of education.
Even rats store food for future needs. Humans shouldn't aspire to be dumber than rats.
