Cherrydev is just a bit off the mark, by 6 months your Chihuahua should be about 3/4 of their mature weight.
By 1 year it will be full size.

That does not mean it will not get fat or spread out. Just like any animal, if you over feed it and don't give it plenty of room to exercise, it will tent to get fat and lazy.

There are also some body styles that are going to be lean (deer body) and some body styles that are going to be fat (cobby body) Just like humans.

There is no such thing as a teacup, mini or micro mini.

There is also no set weight a Chihuahua can grow to. A chihuahua is a chihuahua whether it weighs 3lb or 13lb.

The misconception comes from the fact that a chihuahua can weigh NO more than 6lb to be entered into an AKC sanctioned show.

like most dogs, they grow anywhere from 9 until 14 months of age. When your dog is 6months old, you can double his weight then and that will give you the general range of where he will be when he is older. Chihuahuas shouldn't get above 10 pounds and shouldn't be less than 5-6lbs unless they are of the teacup variety. Goodluck with your chihuahua!
