Wow, it amazes me how stupid and un-feeling people can be when answering these questions.
Hon,
If your eating habits are in control of your life, you have an eating disorder.
If you even THINK you might be developing one, tell someone.
This is a great first step, discussion.
You are at a perfect weight for your size. And, btw, doctors are now starting to say that it's more healthy to be up to 20 pounds overweight than even 5-10 pounds underweight.
Here's something to take a look at:
Anorexia: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bulimia/DS00607/DSECTION=2
Bulimia: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bulimia/DS00607/DSECTION=2
There are other types of eating disorders, so don't think that just because you don't fit the description tha tyou arent.
Rule of thumb: When eating starts controling your life, you have a serious problem. Doesen't matter if it's eating too much, not enough, or w/e.
Hope this helps!

Anorexia is more than just being skinny. It's an eating disorder. At 5'4" and 145 pounds you do not fit the despription of being anorexic, however, there are certain psychological and emotional criteria that come into play here.

No, not necessarily. Weight loss is obviously one of the symptoms of Anorexia Nervosa (Bulemia is different) but no, not every anorexic will be bone thin and certainly not in the beginning when the illness first takes hold, which is the the time you want to address it, before it gets out of hand. HTH : )

You're not by any means anorexic. You are in the correct weight class for your height. People who are anorexic do not eat, and bones show through their skin. If you think that you are anorexic, see a doctor or counselor. It can kill you by giving you heart failure. But your weight sounds good to me.

you are in a perfect shape!! keep it up!
With anorexia there are other bad things that occur... girls stop menstruating, are preoccupied with weight, food and their appearance... since you think you may be too skinny, you do not have anorexia. Anorexic girls they look in the mirror and think they're fat and definitely don't think they're skinny
Let me repeat, you are in a great shape, keep it up!
