In England quite a lot of football pitches take their nets down and put them away after a game, so this rarely happens in my country, maybe they should try it too if this is becoming a problem. Owls don't have very good eyesight and even though they can see in low level light they can't see detail at a distance, this is probably why they end up in the goal nets.
