I floss daily and use electric toothbrush, it is just on part of my gumline, what are the options?

You need a professional deep cleaning. They peel the gums back, clean everything out and sow it back. This is to prevent the recession. What you've lost, won't grow back.If your roots are exposed, then you need another surgery. They take flesh from the roof of your mouth and cover the exposed roots.

Plaque builds up below the gumline and causes recession. You must get regular cleanings to avoid further gum loss.

THE MAJORITY OF ECLECTIC TOOTHBRUSHES ARE VERY SAFE TO USE. THE RECESSION MAY BE CAUSED IF YOU ARE BRUSHING TOO HARD (PUTTING TOO MUCH PRESSURE WHEN YOU BRUSH), ALSO CHANGE TOOTHBRUSH HEADS ABOUT EVERY 3 MONTHS -- AND MAKE SURE IT'S A SOFT BRISTLED KIND. THERE IS NO ORDINARY WAY FOR YOU TO FIX THIS YOURSELF. CONSULT A PERIODONTIST TO SEE WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.

RUN TO THE DENTIST! Go now!! Try flossing in the meantime! If you don't sort it out soon then your teeth will get all wobbly and fall out!!

You maybe brushing hard. If you are right handed, check to c if your left side has more recession. This will confirm the brushing-too-hard theory.

Do you have a tongue-ring, etc?

My best guess is brushing too hard.

You may have gingivitis. You would need to see a hygienist to remove any plaque build up.
A good mouthwash is chlorysol.
