It's time to fix this -- life is too short to be miserable.
I've been depressed in my life, and there is no shame in doing what you need to do to fix it.
There are three different ways to fix this:
1. Therapy. You might be depressed if some part of your life is crappy, or if something really painful happened that still causes pain. Obviously, you might also do things you regret if you're depressed. It sounds like you might have some issues concerning your aunt, and those need to be resolved. In my case, my life was crappy, and I needed to resolve some issues.
2. Drugs. Your therapist (or doctor) might prescribe drugs for 2 reasons: if you are chemically depressed (brain chemicals aren't in balance), or if your situation isn't gonna get better soon (ie, a serious illness to a family member, etc). Drugs don't always work, they do have side-effects, but they can buy you a reprieve. Think of them as a band-aid over a wound.
3. Exercise. When you exercise, the brain produces a very powerful hormone ("drug") called "endorphin". This drug is very very powerful -- marathon runners are basically endorphin junkies -- and makes the world feel much better. In addition, if you can tap into your anger / sadness while doing HARD exercise, you can in fact burn it off. Personally, I find heavy metal in the weight room to be very healthy, as well as 60-70-100 miles on a bicycle.

Talk to your doctor or have a psychiatrist evaluate you. Sometimes depression can be a key sign of certain mental illnesses yes. There are also Clinical depression or situational. Clinical is usually caused by a chemical imbalance. And situational can even stem from your childhood. Do you have severe mood swings i.e extremely happy and then extremely sad? It could be a sign of an bi-polar or something else. Most likely it could be just regular depression. The best thing is to get checked out by your doctor. Best thing is to not ever diagnose yourself.

Lol, i assumed you have been describing those ppl previously each and every thing. i seem down on ppl who're prejudice and that i do evaluate that usually their fault. attitude and lack of awareness can get replaced if one chooses. Ppl have the attitudes which you describe in the direction of psychological ailments for many motives. traditionally, the mentally unwell have been seen demons and the source of all evil. Then we've been seen embarassments to be shuffled off to insane assylums in part using quicker ideals. Then we've been seen to be psych circumstances and not scientific. Now, technological know-how is catching up and as examine progresses there's a becoming physique of technological know-how documenting actual adjustments interior the suggestions that are shifting some psychological ailments closer to being neurological illnesses than psychological subjects (schizophrenia and bipolar in particular). some ppl, despite the fact that, don't be attentive to lots approximately the place technological know-how is. some ppl have self assurance each and every component is the want of God and if God makes you nuts, then you definately are finding out to purchase some sin. some ppl might desire to have self assurance each and every thing is interior a guy or woman's administration. If somebody is mentally unwell, then actual they have a vulnerable character and chosen to be. the theory that life isn't controllable is fairly frightening to those ppl. too maximum of the might desire to administration is mentally undesirable and could be an indication of... a disease, btw. ;) different than for psychosis, psychological ailments are fairly merely severe variations of consumer-friendly thoughts and questioning. for occasion, some ppl have self assurance that their consumer-friendly unhappiness is melancholy so as that they might't understand why it extremely is any such enormous deal to others. and then there are the ppl who're so a strategies into judging that any one who would not stay as much as their common is inferior and to be ignored. for sure, mentally unwell actual falls at or close to the backside of the heap. The irony is that the greater excessively a guy or woman does this, the closer they're to having a psychological disease. long adequate.

You should consider seeing a DR. about this. Without more info it really is hard to tell what is the root cause of the problem.
Was your Aunt your caretaker when you were little?
Has she always done this?
Was she hurt one time when she went out?
Have you told her about this?
It sounds like you are just REALLY worried about your aunt's well being. If you aren't sure if you're being obsessive about it, see your doctor!

This is something that you should ask a professional. There may be something that is not included tha may need to be asked. My main question is why is the habits of another person affecting you so much. Has it only been your aunt's actions that make you feel this way?

You may be depressed about something. I disagree with labels (such as depression or mental illness).
Everyone has feelings and they are all normal.
You might be upset about something and your Aunt is triggering it.

Sounds like it could quite possibly be depression. However, the best answer would be to go to your doctor, or see a psychiatrist.

You seem to have trouble dealing with the unthinking action of others...you want to help them but find they are not looking for help..... yet.!! Would be more like frustration rather than depression.
