im doing a Essay on illegal immigration at my school and im curious to see how many people thinks illegal immigration needs to stop, or how many people dont really care. Speak your mind.

I do not condone illegal immigration and I want illegal immigration to stop now! America is one of the few countries allowing illegal immigration, with most illegal immigrants entering from Mexico and other Latin American countries.
During the mid-80's through the early 90's, the U.S. accepted many refugees from Bosnia who were escaping extreme political and economic conditions. These people were processed by Federal and State agencies, acclimated into the "American way of life", learned to speak English, and did not attempt to thrust their culture on American citizens. Americans accepted them, and did not attempt to overthrow their cultural traditions.
Immigrants coming to the U.S. from Mexico have not made an effort to acclimate to the U.S.; instead, they have demanded the U.S. recognize them first as Mexicans (Latin-Americans), and second as citizens of the U.S., unanswerable to U.S. laws, culture, or language. Many immigrants from Mexico refuse, or are not amenable to learning English. Public schools have been legislated to provide education to these immigrants. State Department of Transportation agencies have been mandated to provide testing materials in Spanish for those who do not (or say they do not) speak English.
As a teacher, I have had students indicate to me that they do not speak English; therefore, they cannot do the work expected of English-speaking students!
Contact your legislators if you sincerely want these interlopers out of the U.S.

I want all illegal immigration stopped. Right now, by any means necessary.
legal immigration is one thing, illegal is breaking our laws, and dividing this county.
what's the best way to conquer anything, by attacking within, a focusing on it's heart. Seems that's already being done folks, or hasn't the light yet dawned.

Well i think it needs to stop. Not because they dont have a right to be here or anything but statistics prove that like in 20 or 30 years that for Mexico as an example because all of the immirgrants leaving that the Mexico population keeps increasing but the jobs just keep decreasing whixh as of no show that Mexico will like fall. I learned that like 2 weeks ago in school

The key word is illegal. If they have nothing to hide why dont they come here legally. There are such things as work visas. They come here illegally because they are criminals or can't wait for legal procedures. The U.S. will grant work visas for people that come here to work. They might have to leave when the jobs done. Life is hard. EVEN FOR AMERICANS. Just because we live in this country doesn't mean we dont struggle. and with more illegals we struggle even more. WE ALL DONT WORK ON WALL STREET.

illegal immigration needs to stop. they should be legal. in the long run they will benefit from being legal. retirement they will get if they are legal.

We have enough legal poor citizens in America without the poor from other places illegally coming here.

i just want to tell u i think u should change your topic because you are going to get some nasty responses if u have hispanics in your class. last year i knew a girl who did her topic on it and didnt have the right facts and the she just got a hurricane of hate blown towards her. but yes it should stop, its getting out of control, literally. if we dont take action now we will soon be speaking spanish.

Illegal immigration must be stopped. It endangers us and damages our economic welfare. This does not mean all immigration must be stopped.
