Overcleansing the hair will irritate the scalp and dry it out. The scalp will then produce more oil to compensate for the dryness. Use a shampoo and conditioner that is specially formulated for oily hair. Also try a clarifying shapoo once a week(for oily hair) to remove product build up.

Yes, washing your hair twice strips out all the unwanted oil. If you have thin hair you may want to do this more because most of the time thin hair becomes oily quickly which makes your hair flat and yucky. I honestly think it is better. A stripping shampoo is also a solution. It take all the build up out of your hair.

Try using a shampoo that is for greasy hair. It is not good to wash your hair too much.

My hair was like that too. All you have to do is find the right shampoo if you shampoo to much you can lose natural oils that are GOOD for your hair. And if that doesn't work just ask a specialist. My friend is a hair person (not her job she's just good with hair) and she recommended Herbal Essence for me. It worked. Lots of Luck!

ask your stylist for a good shampoo. if your hair is overly greasy it might be a poor quality shampoo making it grease up. once a day should be fine. a lot of stylists recommend every other day even to let natural oils build up. hair is so confusing. i guess everything is in the 21st century.

Washing your hair a lot is bad for it. I strips out all the good oils in your hair. Try using less conditioner and just put it on your ends.

i can't wash my hair more than once every 2 days. or else my scalp will dry out and flake. i heard washing your hair isn't good for your head anyway because it strips your hair of nutrients. i guess you can try different brands of shampoo so see what works best.

Washing your hair too much robs it of its natural oils and ruins th PH balance which will caus it to b too dry. Use less styling products and that should do the trick

certainly ( no offense) yet the two certainly one of those are incorrect. it certainly relies upon on your hair sort. in case you have reallly dry hair, than its fairly good to bathe your hair another day, and use shampoo and conditioner. in case you have fairly oily hair, wash it daily and don't use conditioner. additionally, purely shampoo your roots and and condition from the desirable of your neck to the ends of your hair.
