Something is wrong.... digital should be absolutely clear. I know it is on satellite boxes. And, contrary to the first poster, signal strength shouldn't matter on digital... you either get it clearly or you don't get it at all if the signal is weak. That's the beauty of digital signals. That's why I say something is wrong and it's probably in the cable box where the digital signal is decoded. When you get your HD box, you will see what I'm talking about.

Poster number two would only be correct if it were an over the air signal. Since it's not, it can only be the box or there's a poor signal going in ahead of the encoder at the cable company's central office.

Nope the digital converter field is given which you have not got cable and choose to apply your antenna with out paying any month-to-month expenses. Having a digital converter field does no longer advance your cable themes. you may might desire to touch your cable centers to the two replace the cable field or have somebody come on your place to diagnose the priority. it quite is extremely in all likelihood that your television is the reason for the priority and that think approximately to swap the television.

Normally, digital cable channels get poor reception when the weather is not so great.

that happened to me once and it turned out that someone damaged the underground cable while digging holes for a fence post. Call your cable provider and have them check the lines.
