Been sitting beside her in class, see her about 3 times a week.
I tease her, she teases me. We have some fun.
How should I hit things off with her?
I mean, I don't even know if she knows that I "like" her. I was the one who sat beside her first, so she might know my intentions. I do some flirty things like I throw things at her, smack her with my book sometimes playfully. And she sometimes hits me and punches me in the arm.
Basically, how do I escalate this?

ask her to a movie, or ask her to study with you for a test. You need to get out of the class room and get to know her outside of that setting.

She seems to be interested in you. So escalating it seems like the next step. Escalate it in conversation first. Jokingly, you might say "if you keep doing this to me, I might just have to ask you out" or "Your hitting me makes me think we should have lunch together." See what her reaction is. If she seems like cool, then you can inch toward actually asking her out. Probably a group date is the safest for the first date. But, I'd say to escalate things with the jokes first since that's how you two are relating right now. If she goes along with your signals, then great! You can start planning your date.

Well it depends on how old you are but if you're in highschool or younger then just casually ask her to go to a funny movie with you next weekend or if you have one near you a comedy club. If you aren't driving yet, then get her email/im-ing address and strike up a serious conversation--girls love it when a guy asks them deep questions. (Hint: What do you want to do with your life? If you could start your own band what would your group's name be? If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?) Or if you're the adventurous type go for a note with roses or making a complete fool of yourself on the intercom. Just do something that no one has ever done for her before. Girls love surprises. LOL! Escalate, i like ur choice of words :D well, maybe you should start easy like we should hang out together sometime, etc etc. Thats the foundation most people choose to start on, when i want to "escalate" a situation i usually use the same sorta scenario, try to go to her and maybe be like "look i need some advice", " i have a friend who likes this girl. . ." and yeah tell her ur situation and see if she catches ur drift, and says something like "yeh ur friend should ask her out" then go for it son, all lights are green, but yeah, thats what i would do, so yeah good luck with that and hoped i helped somewhat

take my advice.we dont always know that when you hit us u like us! be really sweet to her.we love that!dont make fun of her 4 any reason at all.if some1 is, stand up 4 her!that means a lot!

well just try and slowly get to it or like hnit a little more for it and maybe she will get it. Or just ask her.
