You have to deciede what you value more, peace or freedom...
To think that you can talk evil people out of doing what they want is ludicrous. they tried it with Hitler... Chamberlain and his peace in our time speech. But guess what happened, Hitler lied, and millions more people died because the rest of the world waited to long, and while they waited Germany built up strength and became more powerful.

Picture this..., you are the leader of a small country and you do no harm to your neighbors and pretty much mind your own business in keeping your country together.
Along comes another country or lets even say a very large group of religious militants that try to take your country by force and they are killing your people and determined to kill you because their religion says to live by conquest (or perhaps they just want to rule your country and nothing less will do).
What do you do? Give up without a fight? You know these terrorists or whoever are going to oppress your people. Is peace achieved by your handing the country over to them? Not hardly.
To maintain peace - sometimes you got to fight for it. The only way to peace is to change the hearts of men. All men. That is the real requirement. As you should know by now, there are enough rogues out there that crave power too much to be swayed by the concept of peace.

If all the people of the world could think like the Russian lady that was the first space tourist , once she was in space she said it was plane to see that from up there there is no boarders and it is our home and we must look after it . if every one on this planet would think the same way just maybe that would end all wars . All I am saying is all world leaders should give peace a chance .

Peace in the world will not be achieved through war. However, even in the absence of war, there will not be any long term peace. Humanity by its very nature is warlike.

I think it could if the nations could keep there promises of treaties, trades, and so on. Peace can always be achieved but , when someone else moves into office it can always fail too.

Unfortunately, no.
There will always be someone or some nation to take advantage of the nations who wish to live peaceably.

no, of course not, once the conflicts of today are done, new conflicts will arise. besides my philosophy is that there must be balance to everything that occurs in the universe. the more people, the more wars, famines, pestilence, and natural disasters.
