Polar bears generally don't have to defend themselves from predators cuz they are the main predators in their ecosystem. The only real predator of polar bears is humans and they don't defend themselves that well against a human with a gun.

Polar bears don't need to defend themselves. They are easily at the top of the food chain and have no predators and no natural enemies(except humans) And even if they did, their razor sharp teeth and their six inch claws would be more than adequate.

Polar bears are top predators, they don't really need to defend themselves from anything except cold weather- which they do with black skin, and transparent, exceptionally dense hair. The transparent hair reflects light making them look white!

Have you seen how BIG those things are? I mean, they are as big as my minivan!!! Gosh, their nose was as big as the basketball they were playing with (pool at the zoo)!!!

I'm pretty sure that anything that doesn't have a gun, or isn't another polar bear, isn't gonna bother it.
