in a word, simply bad. take it from someone who has attempted it and has suffered a breakdown, some might class it as assention but I strongly recommend against it. If it happens naturally then God is guiding you, however if you decided to use alpha waves etc then there might be something not as pleasent guiding you. For every positive there is a negitive, there is Black, White and Grey, its the grey areas that you need to be aware and beware off. Stay in the light and steer well clear of the grey, thats the most dangerous.

Kind regards,

Miss Claire NMS Matthews

undesirable? good? You advise, does church doctrine approve of the thought of astral projection? i'm specific they think approximately it 'witchcraft' or 'black magic' or some thing like that. it relatively is the undemanding reaction to issues we don't understand, we call them 'black magic'. Scientifically speaking, there is not any evidence that astral projection truthfully happens or works. no person has ever verified it in a confirmable trend. So in case you think of it relatively is cool, knock your self out. in simple terms don't be disillusioned if no longer something relatively happens.

You can't "look down" at something that's pure fantasy. Astral projection is dismissed as hokum by science and anyone of reason and intelligence. But you go ahead and dedicate your life to proving it exists. Please, no one's stopping you. Prove it and the world will beat a path to your door and shower you with wealth beyond your wildest dreams. But you'll have to become a scientist first, and begin your work from a position of skepticism, not assumption.

Dangerous. Many times people leave their body for good and die doing astral projection. Though naturally we do it at night. Some people die in their sleep. Nothing spiritual about it though. It is almost like being like a ghost. IN the subtle body (Mind, intelligence or lack of it,and false ego) It's not recommended in the Vedas. One can go to the Spiritual abode in their consciousness very easily by chanting the Maha Mantra (Mantra for deliverance)

I think in my society, it's just seen as an odder variation of sleep.

Americans [in general] do not believe that you actually leave your body. Most of the doctors here just feel it's an elaborate hallucination trigged by hypnagogic states.

Hypnagogia happens as you are falling asleep - sometimes the motor locks that prevent your body from moving during sleep kick in before you actually mentally fall asleep. In this state, visual and audible hallucinations are common.

Both. It simply a way of moving around. You can encounter alot that can affect you in a variety of ways, good or bad. Not that some can help it, some do it in their sleep.

Of course it's looked down apon, you didn't really expect people to explore new ideas, did you?

It's a natural process, so it can't be bad. Most people either do not understand it, and can't form an opinion, or have never even heard of it. There are a lot of false beliefs about people being trapped and unable to return, or people dying in their sleep, but those aren't true.

I think it's fun.
