I am getting really stressed out with college and i need help finding a solution to relieve my stress. I have tried diff things and i want to know what helps you guys.

1. Exercise. It helps relieve stress. I read a study that said people who exercised retained more information that people who didn't. Exercise will give your mind and body a much needed break from studying. Your mind will feel refreshed after you take a break and you will study more efficiently.

2. Eat well and drink lots of fluids. Stress weakens your immune system, it causes you to become more susceptible to colds/flu. A good diet and taking vitamins will help boost your immune system.

3. Try to get enough sleep.

4. Is there a massage clinic at your college? Massage therapy students offer a discount for students. A massage works wonders for me. It releases all that tension you are holding in your muscles.

Try taking a break and walking for a while, keeping your pace up so that you get a 'burn' - about 20 minutes of walking will do it.

Take a good look at exactly what it is that's stressing you out will help but you'll need to post more info.

Talk to someone you are comfortable with. Let yourself go while you talk and get all of it talked out.

Lastly, you can resort to tranquilizers but don't become dependent on them please! (been there - done that - not at all fun getting off them.)

When I was in college and I felt like you I tried a few things.
Go out with friends, maybe have a few drinks.
Hang out with someone from high school that did not go to college, that would help you put things in perspective.
Go to the gym.

In general you need somthing to do when your not doing hw/ or in class, something you really enjoy.

Find yourself a hot babe and shag her baby,that is a great way to relieve stress for me, or just put on your running shoes and jog a few miles that works also.

i was really streses when i was in colledge but what helped me realive most of the stress was planing things with friends or family. or if you have neither at the colledge try to get out and do things that get your mind off of school.
