Just curious if this has been an issue that's made it to court yet (a chimera is a rare individual with more than 1 set of DNA, thereby making DNA testing NOT 100%). I'd live to know how this issue was discovered or dealt with, or if it's never happened.

What a great question!
It would be great to hear first hand experiences, but they are so, so few and very far between... And to participate in a legal procedure involving one is outlandish

They had a CSI episode with a chimera...I don't believe most of what is on the tv, but CSI tries to stay fairly accurate with the information and facts in the show. Try the wikipedia. It always has good info.

Never heard of it. I'd be curious to know about it, though. I work in a prison where they take the DNA samples per the law, depending on the crimes they commit (almost all of them).

I saw that on a show a few weeks ago. Sounds like it could happen.
