There's this girl I like at my school. We had a dance this weekend and before I sent her a text saying "save a dance for me lol" just jokingly. I think she took it like i was asking her to be my date. She said "Aw I would but im kind of seeing soemone :-( "? I didn't want to say anything that might suggest i don't like her, so i just told her it was cool. I've talked to her since then, so i know she isn't avoiding me. Do you think her response is legit, or is she hinting that she isn't intrested in me?

Um. That's tuff. It's hard to tell. She probably looks at you as a friend. That may be totally legit, but most girls will joke back before they tell you no and say an excuse. Because she straight up said she was seeing someone, whether or not it's true she prolly wants to be friends.

either way you can't go out with her...does it really matter which one? if she's taken she's taken and if she doesn't want you she doesn't want you and either way it ends up that you're not the one she wants. maybe wait a while and one or both of those will be gone and then you'll be ok to try again if you still like her. don't worry too much about it for the moment...it'll work out it's just hung up right now ^-^
