The gift of gab or the ability to speak or talk well can be acquired. It's not impossible for anyone to have this ability. But he should strive to have this gift.
You can only talk a lot about many things if you are a wide-reader. Read a lot of books about interesting things, novels, knowledge books, newspapers, and other informative materials. This way, you will be able to talk to others when they start talking about things that you have knowledg of.
Aside from reading a lot, you can also acquire knowledge from televisions and radio stations which feature interesting topics and current events.
Believe me.. with the knowledge you will acquire from the two sources of information I mentioned above, there is no other way but for you to become a good conversationalist, But there is also one thing that you should strive to become... be a good listener. Everyone likes a person who is both a good conversationalist and a good listener. All the best.

"I am NOT a shy person! "
"I want to be able to walk into a place and starts to talk and draws every ones attention"
Here's your first problem.
You want the whole room to turn to you as you walk in?
You think there is a trick to this?
Unfortunately, unless you have recently dumped a famous fashion model
Have zillions in the bank or a degree in oneupmanship you are in the same position as the rest of us.
No, sorry mate, you need to have 'done' things,
you need to be interesting or infamous or instantly recognizable as some one to be close to.
good luck,
If you do discover an easy way to be popular please post it to this site. there are lots of us out here who would appreciate it.

Take the time to learn a few "big" words. Throw them into your conversation here and there. Be confident in what your saying and a loud voice cant hurt either!

Just get into the conversation and go from there. Be funny, and creative. Remember you cant always be the center of attention.

Ask questions. That the basis for GREAT conversations. Just think of questions you can ask. When they're done answering, ask another!
