If you really love him then you would want to him to be happy, by moving on he is, so let him go.It going to be a rough road ahead but time heal. Pray and have faith where there is good there is better, you would find better, you are going to look back to this time and say you are glad things happened the way it did. Be around friends and family who care and love you, look for the positive in things, it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Stop trying to get over him. Take one day at a time. You're obsessing so much over this that you're creating unending stress. Time heals all wounds. You didn't make a mistake falling in love with someone who you really cared for & loved. But if he doesn't love you back the same way then you're creating your own misery by this slef inflicted punishment. You accept reality by facing it squarely in the face. When you begin to move on and stop having this pity party you'll open up the possibility for someone else to walk into your life! Someone who may just love you back the way you deserve to be loved. If you continue to struggle with these issues go to the book store and go to the self help section there are tons of books wriiten about breakups & moving on. Because it happens to everyone sooner or later. Use this as an opportunity to learn & grow. The past is dead the future lies ahead....You will survive...be good to yourself.

I did the same thing in HS. It is very hard to get over someone you love especially your BF because you would spend so much time together anyway. What helped me was this person moving away and not talking to them for awhile. Time will help you heal but the waiting period sucks and is very hard. Try and keep yourself busy by hanging out with other people and keep dating if at all possible. You will always love him and will never forget him. In all likely, you will never lose your feelings for him but you will be able to to rearrange them so they don't hurt you anymore. Give it time, give it time.....

I know from expierence is that a broken heart never goes away..it just fades until only direct references to the memories can bring the pain back. But eventually you can live your life again to the fullest...stay at it. It is going to be hard...also consider that you two probably won't ever be the friends that you used to be. these are those lessons that life throws at you..in the end they do make you stronger.

First off, it's okay to remember the good times. Next, to "get over" this, you should just pay attention to your personal needs. Doing this will help you feel better about yourself.
