Carmex!
its the best stuff and you wont find it addictive.
i used to be addicted to chapsticks.. couldnt go half an hour without applying and my lips feeling like they are burning..
but with carmex, my lips are smooth and moist all the time and i only use it when necessary, usually after a shower or when ive been in the cold long

From my experience, your lips are chapped because you are dehydrated. If you put on triple antibiotic, and use a moisturizer during the day, it will heal fast, but if you are not drinking water, you will stay in the same place. I know alot of people don't like to drink water, but it works so well! And it's good for you too. I don't like to use chapstick because when it wears off, my lips are even drier than before. Vasoline works good, and removes mascara too.

I have an awful time with chapped skin and lips, my favorite chapstick is Burt's Bees, especially the peppermint flavored one it gives a tingly, cooling sensation.

For daily use, I use Blistex DCT. When they're really badly chapped, I try to drink more water throughout the day, avoid licking my lips (that dries them out more), and apply vaseline to my lips, especially at bedtime.

Vaseline works wonders, put it on at night and it will help heal them. For the daytime I recommend Blistex lip infusions. It glides on with a roller ball, no mess, and doesnt taste horrible if you lick your lips.
