I have recorded Some audio from a tape cassett and am trying to send it by mail but am unable to as it is too large and I cannot seperate it into smaller sections.

Try putting them into Mp3? you are limitied by email on size of files, i know yahoo allow up to 10Mb. Look into P2P, and file sharing.
