Like most of the others that have answered, I have always baked them. When you bake them you can soak them in salt water before they are cooked, for added flavor.
If you decide to fry them, be careful! If they contain moisture, it could turn to steam, and its rapid release into the oil could burn you. If you do fry anything, I believe oil starts to smoke above about 400 F, so you should keep it at or below that temp.

I think they would turn out great. You could probably cook them at any temperature as long as you watch them so they don't burn. Pumpkin seeds usually take a while to get brown but once they start they can burn REALLY fast.

i would bring it up to like 400 degrees or so and put some in and then wait until they get a light golden color and take them out. when they are still hot you could sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on them yummm
