Once you get the hang of it you will be fine,but to be honest I am a college student and still don't have ALL of them memorized just the ones most often used. Try and make a table going from 1 to 10 across and then 1 to 10 down then fill in the rest. Like this one from 1-5

Brute memorization is the method I highly recommend. Memory devices will cause a slower recall. You will use the multiplication tables often, so it is worth putting the extra effort into learning them well. Get the charts (tables) and memorized them. Flashcards are useful. I did see a mechanical, toy-like device that I thought was useful. It had the problems on small squares and when you pushed the square it gave you the answer. This is probably available at toy stores or learning stores.
Do you know how to count by twos? Count by three? The only other thing I can think of is that you can count by any other multiplier, eg. 5, 10, 15, 20, ...or 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36,...or 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54...
OK take the case of 9s, 1x9=9, 2x9=18, 3x9=27 hence 9,18,27...
thus learning the multiplication tables can be like learning the alphabet. It is a series.
If you find this difficult do not dispare. Memorization is one of the hardest things in learning. But keep at it. When you master it it will carry you far.

You can do it! I'm sure you already know how to count by 5's and 10's so you don't have to worry about them. Nines are fun because if you write them in a line vertically, you'll see the ones digits count down from 9 to 0 and the tens digit counts up from 0 to 9. When you add the 2 digits together, they always add to 9 so you always know if you have the correct answer.
Don't pick just one answer here... use a lot of different methods. Flash cards, writing out the tables, music, movement, using counters (pennies, beans, buttons, whatever) to see how the numbers fit together. Figure out how you learn best. Some people are visual so flash cards work great for them. Others learn by listening so they'd do best putting them on tape or reciting them out loud. Other people learn kinesthetically meaning they learn best through movement. Most people learn better when they combine more than one methods.

repeat them untill you know them by heart. you young insprired young lad. Enrich your mind, learn. you are so cute. I with my child was like you. He is a drug addict. he lives on the streets. I almost lost my house to his addiction, but i threw him out. I told him he can come back when he is clean. He has been in prison the last 2 years comes out tonight. I hope he come out right because he has two girls pregnent as the same time and he dont got no job. He never had a job. He just sells drugs. He is luky he is not dead. he got shot 6 different times. I still love him. But I want to kill him. The worst part about it is that he is only 20 years old. Dont be like him kid. Go to school and learn your multiplication facts. The 3's arnt that bad 3x3=9 3x2= 6 3x4=12 3x9=24 i think, i dont know about that last one. Ask your dad. He is a good father not like me. But lets not get into that. Remember, work hard play hard.

Learn the primes:
2, 3, 5, 7
Then learn how to combine primes.
You will shortly be able to multiply anything.
This is an important mental skill and a major part of your training your brain how to think.
If you want any good paying job, learn math.

my son is 8 and knows his through 9 he uses a adding method where if it is a high number like 7x7 he knows 7x5 is 35 and 7 x2 is 14 so he adds those together to get 49 it might seem hard but he can pop the answers out quickly now.

The best way to learn multiplication tables is simply to memorize them. Keep going over them till they are stuck in your head.

Put your times table to music. When you sing, your left side of the brain works along with the right side of your brain. You will memorize more quickly.

I had to write my times tables over and over until I could remember them. Either that or try some math flash cards.
