I don't know how tall or muscular you are, and that makes a difference, because muscle weighs more than fat, and sometimes that means that a toned, athletic person weighs more than a couch potato. Your height means a lot too. But listen:

People vary in weight at this age in greater degrees than they do at any other time in life. That's because while you're growing up into your teens, you always get a little chubbier before you're ready to get taller/more shapely -- after then the weight remains, but it's redistributed. That means that rail-thin girls may just be a little slower to mature, and girls who have gotten chubbier all over may grow long, beautiful bodies and become very curvy. Seriously. Look it up.

86 is a perfectly nice weight for anyone between the ages of 12 - 13 to be. In another six months you probably won't recognize yourself, anyway.

"What's the right weight for my child?" is one of the most common questions parents have. It seems like a simple question. But, it's not always an easy one to answer. Why not? People have different body types, so there's no single number that's the right weight for everyone. Even among people who are the same height and age, some are more muscular or more developed than others. That's because not all kids have the same body type or develop at the same time.

It is possible to find out if your child is in a healthy weight range for his or her height, though - it just takes a little effort. You'll also be able to put your child's measurements into our BMI calculator and get an idea of how your child is doing.

The above is a link to a body mass index site that will help you and a parent to determine your desired weight. Everyone grows differently so don't let this overtake who you are. Please if you are having problems talk to a parent or school councelor.

It really doesn't have anything to do with age. Is has moreto do with height. When someone is about 5' tall they should weight around 100-105 pounds

it depends on how tall you are but 86 lbs is not much weight, why are you concerned about your weight ? do you feel you have a problem, if you do tell your parents so they can watch what is going on with you ... you have enough to worry about at your age ,try not to worry about the weight... good luck
